Over 100 years ago, a group of people in Johannesburg came together with a simple yet powerful idea: that service to others could change everything.

That idea became the Rotary Club of Johannesburg — the first in Africa — and since then, we’ve been planting seeds of hope, education, and dignity in our communities and beyond.

From building libraries to feeding families, mentoring youth to eradicating polio — our legacy is written in every smile we help create.
